Updating URL in Guarding Vision or Hik Connect

If you need to update your app's IP address or Domain Address due to a change, you can do this in a couple of steps.

First, make sure you can access the URL on your mobile device. Copy the URL so that you can paste the URL in Guarding Vision or Hik Connect

Open Guarding Vision or Hik Connect, and once it loads. Tap on the three dots in the top right corner.

Then tap on Settings.

Then, once you see your information, tap on the Pencil icon in the top right corner to edit

Then you will want to change the Address information.

Delete everything in the Address, and paste the new URL that was provided to you.

Note the URL should be just companyname-websiteurl.dynamic-m.com. If it pastes as https://companyname-websiteurl.dynmaic-m.com, take out the https://, it will not work with that in the URL. Your email client will think that it's a website URL when it's not.
