How to Create Scheduled Email Reports For Low Battery Events
- Browse to the miALERT EMS Portal, Login with the Provided Credentials.
- From Side Bar Menu on the Left Side, Click "Check In" to expose the Sub-Menu then Click "Low Battery" to open the Low Battery Alarms Page.

- On the Battery Alarms page, Click "Load Records" Button. After the Records have loaded, Click the "Schedule Report" Button.
*Note even if you leave all of the fields empty and there are no records, you must still click the "Load Records" Button BEFORE The "Schedule Report" Button.

- In the Window that pops up, under "Job Name", Name what you would like the Reports being emailed to be Titled, for example "Alarm Status". Then Click the "Add Job" Button.
*Note that the word "Report" will be appended to whatever name you choose, so if you enter "Alarm Status Report", the email you receive will be titled "Alarm Status Report Report".

- After you have selected a Job Name and Clicked "Add Job", from the Side Bar Menu scroll to the very bottom and Click "Account", then from the sub-menu click "Scheduled Actions".

- On this page, you will see the Sceduled Report you started creating listed by the "Job Name" that you named it on the previous page. Now on the far right of this page Click the Icon shown highlighted below that looks like a Piece of Paper with a Pencil.

- On the Window that Pops Up, you need to fill in the fields listed.
1) In this field enter the Email Address you would like the Report Emailed to. If you would like to have it Emailed to more then 1 Address, then seperate each email address by a semi-colon ( ; ).
2) Under Occurence, Select how often you would like to be emailed the Report. The most straight forward way to set this up is to Select the same time period you selected for the Alarms. Which in this case was "Weekly". After Selecting "Weekly" you will see the availble fields for you to fill in changes.
3) Day Of Week is the Day of the Week you would like to receive the Reports, if you selected to receive Reports Weekly.
4) This is the Time of Day you wish to receive the Report in 24H Time. Select a number between 0-23. In our case we will be choosing 2:00PM so we will enter "14".
*For 12AM Enter "0", for anything from 1AM To 9AM, just enter 1-9. for any time after 12:00PM/Noon, simply add the Number 12 to the hour of day you would like the Report. For example in our case we are going to Pick 2:00PM so we will simply add the number 12 to 2 (12+2=14) giving us the number 14. So we will enter the number 14 Under Hour, to set it to send our Reports at 2PM. For the Minute field, we are going to leave set to "0" as we wish to receive it right at the top of the hour, which in this case is 2:00PM.
5) Once everything has been filled in, Click the "Save" Button.

- Congratulations!
You have now Completed Setting up a Scheduled Low Battery Report!
*Ignore what some of the fields say sometimes after hitting save. For example if we had Selected Daily instead of Weekly sending of Reports, under Day it would probably still say "Sun" as in "Sunday" even though its Set to send Reports Daily and NOT just Sundays.
