Connecting to your Office VPN with Cisco Secure Client

First you will need to download the app

Cisco Secure Client Download

After you have downloaded the app, install and click on next next next to finsih etc. 

Once down, you'll see an app show in the bottom right corner of your Display

Where red box is input the long URL that we provided to you.

***Note, when we email you the URL, it might put the URL as https://yourcompanyname.m-dynmic.ca but we do not want it to be like that. Take out the https:// and the / at the end. you just want yourcompanyname.m-dynamic.ca for example.

Enter that URL 

Then press connect.

On your first try connecting to the VPN you might get this error. 

Click on Change Setting, then uncheck Block Connections to untrusted servers.

Then click on the X in the top right corner. Then go back to the Cisco Secure Client, and click on Connect. 

You will get another warning confirming the connection

Click on Connect Anyway.

Then you'll get a login Window

Then enter the username and password you created for Cisco

Then it will show a Message of the Day, click on Accept. Give it a couple of seconds and it will connect to the VPN.

Once it's connected you'll be able to connect to your company resources.
