Change the Ring Time before the voicemail picks up

To change the ring time before the voicemail picks up is a simple task. You have to do it under the extension you wish to change it under. The default for a regular extension is 30 seconds, which is roughly 6 rings before the voicemail picks up.

Go under Accounts then Extensions. Search for the extension you wish to make the change to. Click on the extension number so that you can view all the details for that extension.

Scroll down to roughly the bottom of the page and look for Call Timeout.

The default is in place for 30 sceonds. Each ring is roughly 5 seconds. If you want to increase it to 10 rings, change th timer to 50.

Then save your changes at the top of the page. 

Then you're done.
