Call Transferring

You have two ways when you transfer a call.

First is called B Transfer or Blind Transfer. This is sending it directly to the user without talking to them.

Second is called Assisted Transfer. This is where you and the person you're calling can talk without the caller hearing what you're saying ie "I have Jim from ABC Company regarding account 1234, do you want to talk to him now?". Yes transfer him over please.

When on a call you'll see the Transfer button on your phone.

Press Transfer then it will ask you to enter the ext number. Note you can also forward calls to outside numbers. ie mobile numbers.

Enter the extension or number you want to reach out to then you'll see the B Transfer or Call option.

B Tranfer = Transfer directly to them

Call = Assisted Transfer. Talk to them before handing over the call.

B Transfer will send the call to them then you can hang up the call.

Call for Assisted Transfer, you'll be connected to the user at the other end, the caller will be placed on a hold on your phone. When ready to hand over the call to the extension or mobile number press Transfer again and then you can hang up the call.

That's it.

***Reminder, you can also send calls directly to voicemail by entering 8 in front of their extension number, ie 8100 for extension 100 Voicemail.
