Accessing the Cameras locally via NVMS

We will provide you a share folder with some files

 

There is a text file with what to do with those DLL files and the installation file. 

Install the NVMS, click next until finished. After completed. Take those DLL files and put them in the following directory.

C:\Program Files (x86)\NVMS V3 Site\NVMS V3 Client\Client

This is the default directory for the NVMS software.

Then run NVMS from your desktop

Click on Disable

On the next window it's going to ask you to create a username and password. This is for your access to the App only, not the cameras. It's like password protecting your camera access.

If you want, click on Auto-Login to always log you into the Camera System. Then click on Log In, then it will ask you to set up a password recovery option.

Please supply some information then you can get to the next window.

The next window it will provide you the main access to the camera system.

We want to click on Device Management on the right side. This is where we will add the camera system to the App.

We will provide you with the details you need to enter.

Name: Can be anything
Address: we will provide something to you like 10.1.1.5 or 192.168.2.5
Port: 8000
Username: we will provide
Password: we will provide

 

Once you have entered that info, click Add. When you add, it will show the camera sytem as not online. Please give ita  couple of mins to update.

Then it will show online. Click on the little X at the top of Maintenance and Management

On the next window, click on Main View

When you click on Main view it might auto select all your cameras. But you can select different views you wish to use.

When you click on different views you'll see all the options you want. Click on the 4 to give you a 2 x 2 option.

If you click on the view area where the boxes are, you can click on the left side where the camera list is to view said camera.
