Access and Set up Voicemail

The default password for your voicemail will be 224466. As soon as you log in you can change it.

To access your voicemail, if you have a Yealink phone press the Voicemail Icon. It will look like this on your phone. Envelope Icon Vector Art, Icons, and Graphics for Free Download Or you can dial *97 on any phone that is provided from Key2. 

You can access your voicemail from another phone in your building. To do this dial *98. It will ask for your ID. Your ID is your extension number, then press #. Then it will ask for your voicemail password. Then you will be logged into your voicemail and you can check your messages.

Once you're logged into your voicemail. If you have any messages, it announce how many messages you have. To listen to your new messages, press 1.

To make any changes to your voicemail greeting or password for your extension when you login please press 5 for Advanced options. Then below you'll see some options that you can change.

Record a Greeting: This is your voicemail Recording. Example: Hello you have reached Steve I'm currently on another call or away from my desk. Please leave a message after the beep. 

Choose a Greeting: You can create a greeting for when you're away if you wish to have standard away message, or out of office message. Example: Hello you have reached Susan, I'm current out of the office, if your call is urgent, you can call me on my mobile at 416-555-1234, otherwise please leave your name, number and a breif message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Record Name: This can be used for a company directory. If someone wants to search the company directory they can enter numbers on the keypad to search your name, then once the system thinks it has found your name it will say, For Bob(in your voice), please press 1, for Bobby, please press 2.

Change Password: This is to change it from the default password that was provided by Key 2. If you forget or lose your password, please talk to your admin team as they might have access to reset the password for you. If not please reach out to support@key2.ca and ask for assistance to reset your voicemail password.
